I go out and hike. If I happen upon a shed or new stand site thats cool, but mostly I just like to hike. It can be tough to keep the body tuned up this time of year and nothing makes me feel worthy of a nap like a good hike!

I also shoot the bow a lot, every day if I can. Gotta keep that in form too!

I like to scout a lot but the military base I hunt on has basically closed down the entire base lately to train. I have tried to get on to scout/fish the last couple of days but it is shut down. I can hear big ole bombs going off every now and then. I have been shooting a few times a week and looking over some topo maps to pass the time. I can't wait for next year!

It's called having a balanced life. You know, ... enjoying all the world has to offer. When you're young it's girls, married it's making amends and gaining points to offset all the time you spent in the woods, when you're old and single it's called ice fishing, or fly fishing in the spring or something. Shed hunting???? Nahh... too many really fun things to do out there.

I won't touch my bow again until late summer, unless its to trade it in on a new one. I'll be shed hunting, and I work half days on Saturdays. Fishing, turkey hunting, mowing, baseball, rinse/lather/repeat. Then its bow season all over again.

I have been working alot of hours and it's either to cold and windy out to do much except spending time with the wife.. I haven't been out on the lakes yet as they have been burried in snow and very slushy right now. I also just got another bow and waiting for a friend to help me set it up. If it was all set up a pair of snowshoes and a few rabbits would be fun. I have never tried to hunt predators with it yet but have given it some thought tho..

Mostly video league and scouting. Also Nascar season is about to begin as well so that will at least take 1 day a week.

Right now, looking at gear, shooting an online Vegas league, hopefully some foam as well with ya Ben, researching A LOT in the flyfishing department (I'm hoping to pick this up), and most importantly, working on planning the wedding and finalizing the purchase of our house.

I hunted so hard this season, especially the last few weeks, its nice to take a bit of a break.I've gone to one 3D shoot and that's about it. I've gone squirrel hunting a couple of times.

Most of my off time has been spent at the gym, with the woman, and working on my truck.

Turkey season is coming sooooooon.

Here in Texas were already back up into the mid 70's for high temps, so I'm loading up the kiddo's and were headed out to wet a line when I get off work today.
