Default need help on attracting and holding deer

okay i have 100 acres with 15 to 20 acres of woods but the surrounding land has woods and grown up fields and i see a very small amount of deer on my property and i have killed some but no bucks and i was wondering what i could do to attract and hold more deer on my property now i see lots of deer within about a 3 or 4 mile radius and i would like to attract those deer to my land i'm at my last draw here i'm having the worst luck a deer hunter could possibly have. oh yea i have a creek running through the woods also thanks alot

You have not told us what the other 80 acres are. If they are fields, I would suggest you plant it with Biological or something similar. Not the whole 80 acres, but maybe a few acres.

My sugestion is to take a 3 to 5 acre section and make that a no hunting, no walking zone. Do not go in there for any reason. Cut some trees half way through so they fall with about 4 foot of room underneath them. Make them a thick as you can get bedding area. Place this bedding area near the creek. If you are willing, plant Autum Olive bushes all the way around it. The deer eat the berries and the bush is a great wind block. What is essential are the for things the deer need to survive: is Food, Water, thermal cover and shelter from traffic. These are items that a wildlife biologist told me when I had him out to my property, to see what it would take me to hold deer. I have tons of paper work and information that the biologist gave me on different trees to plant and how to manage them. Let me know if your interested in reading it.

do you guys think just the food plots will attract those deer within the 3 or 4 mile range all the deer have to eat is beans and corn and no clover available what do you think.
