I bought these for my nephew that shoots a 30-30. We do a lot of in and out of vehicles and the old lead tipped bullets were pretty much mush by the middle of the season. This will be his first year using them, so I too will be interested in anything that anyone has to say about them.

I have used them in my Marlin 336 in 30-30. On the range my groups have been tighter. In the field i have only shot it once. It was a buck at 40 yards. Dropped where he stood

Ive studied the tefchnical details on them and they appear to be all the mfr says. The kind of ammo Tom Horn would have liked to have. When I get my new Marlin I'll be using them exclusively.

I cannot vouch for the 30-30 Win. but in .35Rem the Hornady LE is awesome. I got about 1/4-1/2" tighter grouping, and slightly less drop. I have thought about tryin a box in the guide gun but why do that when casting is so much fun.
