I haven't shot them in 45-70 but I have in 30-30. The concept is simple physics. What's not to like about extended range and better retained energy downrange?

I put a box thru my marlin last weekend.... Hurting after the last few, I was very impressed with the performance over the traditional ammo. I just put on the leupold scout scope, w/ the scout mount, so I was just getting it dialed in. At 100M w/ three rounds left,I was cutting holes dead nutZ!. At 200M (not that I would take that shot, BUT I could) the group remained tight, 3in low... Like the other gentleman said, you can beat the extended distance you'll get!
