My freind had one that would shoot nearly 300 yards up until he put a spud through a window... dad got the gun after that.

i shoot arrows in mine.....shot one did not even see it....just heard zooooooooooooooooom out of the gun...

we built a golfball(potato) gun when i was in HS, my buddies dad ran a well drilling business so we used his meterials, and powered it with propane, put one through a barn at about 300 yards, it would shoot a long way!!!

in shop class we built one out of tin canns and wood dowls and shot tennis balls, used lighter fluid as the propellent shoots about 200yds
