To get big you hafta eat big. I'm skinny, high metabolism. To gain weight I eat a minimum of 5000 clean calories. Split your days up as in chest day back day shoulder, legs, arms. You have to give muscles time to recover. You don't grow when you're lifting. You grow when your resting

for a new lifter, personally, i suggest ( as dumb as i sound ) u work your full body 3 days a week, after a few months of this u can switch over to certain muscle groups on certain days...

You wanna make sure you switch it up a bit cause if you work the same muscles too often it could have a negative effect on body building. I like to do my upper body workouts on monday than tuesday I do my core workouts, wensday I do my leg workouts, thursday I do coditioning (run 3-7 miles). Friday, saturday , and sunday I take it easy and then monday I start all over again. Protein is also very important after football and workouts I drink a minimum of 25 grams of whey protein. You wanna eat/drink your protein either 30 minutes before or after your workout for maximum effect.
Body building also takes determination if you can just stick to it the reward is great!
Ha ha Good luck.

Ps. p90x is also a good progam I would reccomend it. I have done it twice and very much enjoyed it.

This my first year doing P90X. Im on day 13 and its a complete physical challenge to get done. Im already fit, but using it to tone up. And well 13 days im already getting ripped. Just 67 more days

BTW it defiently isnt for everyone. You got to have some serious determination to stick with it.
