Okay...I personally don' t like PSE' s much...(Pansy Shootin Equipment). I started off on a Reflex Bighorn and it was a great beginners bow. Didn' t cost an arm and a leg like a Mathews or Bowtech does 400-700 bucks.
If you shot a PSE and like it go ahead and go for it. Practice with it, get good, and later on you can buy yourself a bigger, better bow.
Good luck in choosing! Let us know how it goes...

RE: Who all bowhunts?
i just bought a bow about 3 weeks ago because i am just starting bowhunting. i went to scheels and talked to a guy that realy knew his stuff. he showed me a pse predator but that was too much for me but i was lookin at some different pse' s as well but he said that you kinda want to stay away from them until you know your stuff. he showed me a browning buck hunter made by browning for scheels. realy nice bow 60-70lbs, 27-29 draw length 65% let off. came with a rest and quiver. real nice bow so thats what i got. i love the thing. anyway i asked him about the novas and fitzgerld and deer hunter made by pse and he said that if you realy get into the sport and like bowhunting you wont grow out of the browning buck hunter as fast as you will the deerhunter, nova, fitzgerld. he said if you got one of them bows after a couple years you probley be lookin for a different bow

Ive got a nova and love the bow i really like PSE!! they make some nice bows and are good priced. Ive had mine for a few years now and its still shooting awesome. Everyone is different when it comes to bows and some bows will fit you better and you will like them better. You should go to a archery shop and shoot a couple bows and get a feeling for them and see which one fits you best and the one your most comfortable with and go with that bow.

I deer hunt with a Golden Eagle bow. It has worked great for three years, although I have not yet got my deer (not the bow' s fault...). My next bow will definately be another Golden Eagle. Take a look at the Obsession.
