Ivebeen out33 times this year and have yet to put a deer down. Had some close calls (2 wounded) and also some close encounters . Well the Ohio rut is just about to hit full throttle and i will be living on stand forthe next 4 days. People with my number, be expecting "that" text .

I carry a grunt tube, a can call and some rattling antlers. I have had luck with doe in estrus scent but i don't currently have any.

Also, i wimped out big time this morning. Stayed up too late and it was raining when i woke up so i rolled over and tried dreaming that buck to death (didnt work [:@]).
