Wish Me Luck!
Ivebeen out33 times this year and have yet to put a deer down. Had some close calls (2 wounded) and also some close encounters ;). Well the Ohio rut is just about to hit full throttle and i will be living on stand forthe next 4 days. People with my number, be expecting "that" text ;).

At least you've seen a deer. I've never even seen a deer while hunting, but hopefully this year will be different. It seems that there are a lot of rubs and scrapes in the area I'm hunting in.

You can't just shoot at every deer that you see! If i could do that i would have exactly 78 deer down already this season.

5 deer altogether, 2 of them small bucks, no shots though. I did get 2 texts from members (1 who uses the youth forums) who got deer though ;)

A doe and a button buck on the evening hunt. No shots. 3 hunts down, 3 to go for this week. Total of 8 deer sighted in those 3 hunts, 2 of them bucks (not including the button).

My quest is still on, 7 deer altogether tonight but once again no shots. 1 hunt left until work resumes [:@]. After tommorow morning i wont be back in the stand till Saturday morning (and thats not 100% certain, plus its youth gun season). Freak Daddy was sighted down the road last week sometime by an unlce, so hes still in the area! |

No youth hunting here, my 3 brothers and all their high school cronies will be invading my woods. I think i have HazMat training all day though, if not ill be out with my bow.

Jk Here'show it is in MO, you can bowhunt during firearms season, but you have to use a firearms tag, and wear the blaze orange. |

I dont ever work on weekends, i work days at Marcs. Shotgun wise, i use some a Mossberg 500 :)
