well i got a doe last night after 3 hunts of not seeing any thing, i would put some pictures but didnt have time to take any. i shot it just below the ear with a .270 at 75 yards it had a hole that i could almost fit my fist into on the other side but i didnt have to go look for it and no meat was wastedit was getting dark anyways and i didnt want to have to go look for it if it ran

uh oh.......dont go talkin about it in the deer hunting forums. all the high and mightys will get mad at you and try to get you banned for being "stupid" and "unethical" i say good for you good shot and keep it up!!

I only make head shots on does. No wasted meat.

nice shot frank! I've been tempted to bring that "head shot on does" back to life. the more I think about it the more I support it haha. But, I know it would just go around in circles like before...oo well. Nice shot and congrats, wish you had some pics.

I will only take head shots on does and only when i have my 204 with me. I know i can easily get a good head shot on a doe out to 200 yards with it.
