I couldnt get it to work with the other picture, it is a little bit more clear. I hit an 8 point there with a bow 2 years ago. A guy up the road got it about two weeks later, it went right through the lower chest cavity, hitting nothing. there is also one higher up, but I have no experience with that. so I won't comment cause I dont know whats true or not.

First off im pretty sure were talking guns here. And the spot your pointing out isnt int the lung/chest cavity area, its jus the bottom of the deer If we were talking head shot then you just highlighted the lower jaw lol.

Brandon, i know you have less deer density by you and smaller bag limits. But that should not be an excuse for piss poor shots. It should actually make you take better shots. If you confident with your ability to make head shots, that's your own call. I only know that i would not and the majority of other hunters would not as well. And that's is for a reason.

Also, James, just because your parents did it one way and its been done like that for generations doesn't make it right. Just my opinion. A Lot of stuff in that category is wrong and unsafe/outdated...but that's another argument.

Like mentioned before, we all got each others backs and if Brandon nails a doe from 250 yardsin the skull at a dead run ill be 1st in line to congratulate him.
i wuld never say im a piss pr shot. w/ my tagging record ide say im better then average. i was trying to be modest but now i guess ill be cocky lol. aND I wouldnbt ever take a shot at a deer at 250 yds cuz you cant see that far in maine hahaha but if i did and hit it in the head it would be chit luck cuz i use iron sights and im pretty sure the front bead would easily cover the deer. lol

you guys know me, lol i am ver confident lol

If you shoot a deer in the face, it will most likely die. The deer you shot siman would've died soon had you not shot him; and yes,,, it sucks that the hunter who shot that deer made the deer suffer like that. But, theres been plenty of times where someone will make a gut shot or just a flat out bad shot on a deer, and it will live for a day or two,,,, and its worse when they push the deer trying to find it.

When a deer get shot in the face, even if you are a little off and say you shoot the deer in jaw,,, the shock from the bullet is close enough to the brain to do some damage. Neck shots work just as well as a head shot IMO. The deer will literally drown on its own blood if you make a shot to the windpipe/throat or the upper jaw (nose).

that is in the chest cavity. it is inside the rib cage, that is chest cavity. And as for the "which red spot would you like to aim for" the big one obviously. but if the other is the shot presented I will take it.
