Once the arrow, or bullet, pierces the heart or lungs, the animal is done for. The key is shot placement which you acquire through much practice. An arrow that passes through the gut is only going to produce a deer that dies several days later that you can't find.

I already told you, crossbows aren't allowed here except during the two week firearm season. So I can't use a crossbow. Okay? Look, if I could pullabigger bow, I would. But I'm too small. And I'm not likely to grow either. My mom is the same size I am and she's 33.

That's okay, I understand your question. And a lot of people share your concerns. But I just want to point out that I understand that I have to be a lot closer than most folks with a heavier bow. And I also do what everyone should do, is practice a whole lot. As I said, a miss or a gutshot with a 70 pound bow is still a miss or a gut shot. A heavier bow doesn't make one a better hunter.

I deal with my limitations every day. Someday scope out your average 5th grade girl for size and imagine her doing what a full-sizeadult does all day long. I'm happy that Michigan law allows me to bow hunt because I enjoy it very much.

Imagine the fun you have crawling to within 15 yards of your target having to be absolutely quiet and moving ever so slowly. It's a blast.

Unethical eh?

I'll admit I'm tempted to start trading insults, but I'll just pass in the interests of making better use of my time.
