ok so i was supose to be heading home tomorrow from school. i was in the process of bringing my truck in front of the dorm so i wouldnt have to walk so far. It has been raining all day, so as i pull out of the parking lot onto the road a guy decided to slam his brakes on forcing me to swearve, fish tail over correct 3 seperate times before crashing into a curb and ending up 45 feet into someones front yard.

i get out pretty quick cause it smells like gas, and smoke. turns out i completely blew out both front tires, and the front axle is really screwed up. looking at an estimate of $4300!!!!!

my girl was in the truck with me, shes fine cause thats whats most important!

sorry i had to vent a bit, im really pissed right now!

i am sorry to hear, that. i hope you can get it fixed, but my dad is a mechanic and 4300 sounds really high even for a new front end, if it a a rear wheel drive only, then it shouldnt be that much, even if its a 4x4 that sounds expensive, a new front straight axle and gears should probaly be atleast 1000 less, but if its is a IFS front end i dont know what they run, but i would get another quote or something.
