How many people here still hunt?

It seems odd to call it still hunting because you are actually moving around. But we do it, and seem to wind up crawling through the brush most of the time. I think it's mostly because my old man can't sit still very long. But it is a lot of fun.
How many other of you guys do it and what do you think about it?

Thats the only way i hunt and i love it. I hunt that way for all big game and ive had awesome success. I see more game, i find its more exciting stalking up on the game then waiting for the game to come to you, plus i find it tests your skills alot more then sitting in a stand or blind.

If you sit in one spot you get cold. I move from place to place, sometimes just pacing back and fourth over a ridge... anything to keep warm lol. I don't believe (or have the money) for all of that fancy hunting gear.

We have one muzzleloader but I haven't had the chance to hunt with it yet. Maybe, maybe, maybe, this December, but certainly next year.
We hunt public land but there's nobody around if you go deep into the woods. We also hunt rabbits, squirrels, and woodchucks, but not much competition there.

i generally stay put in my stand the first few hours on the private land i hunt bordering public land, then I'll make a big loop around the area and check out some bedding areas on the public land on my way out. I've actually shot a few deer in their beds a few years ago.

i love to hunt and i bowhunt and i sit and wait but i havent seen anything yet this year exept where u cant hunt.
