If you sit in one spot you get cold. I move from place to place, sometimes just pacing back and fourth over a ridge... anything to keep warm lol. I don't believe (or have the money) for all of that fancy hunting gear.
We don't have the money for all that stuff either. I hunt with a used bow and my man hunts with a bow he got for half price because someone returned it to the store. We don't have the fancy camo clothes because they're too pricey. Mostly military surplus woodland camo. What we can find and adapt. Like I'll wear a men's camo t-shirt over my coat.

We have one muzzleloader but I haven't had the chance to hunt with it yet. Maybe, maybe, maybe, this December, but certainly next year.

We hunt public land but there's nobody around if you go deep into the woods. We also hunt rabbits, squirrels, and woodchucks, but not much competition there.
