silverhawk, ever watch cmt? I do. In the show inside fame: The Dukes of Hazzard, and I quote Ben Jones (Cooter)- "1969 Dodge Charger with a 447."
P.S. It doesn't have to be the original engine, after all, we are talking about a 1969 charger in 1982-1989 seasons I want to say. Can you buy a brand new 69 Dodge charger in 1982??

Dukes of Hazzard! haha, good show.i like the charger, chevelle, camaro, mustang etc...anyone of those. i dont really care about the specs. if it doesnt come with what i want then it'll be just that muchbetter to drive knowing that i fixed it up.

If i get a truck (most likely) its gunna be a Dodge Ram. 1500 SLT Laramie Quad Cab 4x4, 5.7 Hemi V8. Sucker can tow 8,300 pounds. thats one heck of a lot of deer!

or i'd like a Saleen S7 Twin Turbo. it runs around $555,000. 0-60 in 2.8, 0-100-0 in 11.2 750 horsepower. not too good for hauling deer though

u musthave heard wrong,,cause if u wacthed the insider (like i did) he said that it had a 383 in it,,but from what i have heard they haveused 318's as well as the 440 along side the383,,if u do a search on google u will get mixed results but no were does it say that they used a 447,,,because chrystler never made a 447 ci engine for any of there vehicals that i know of,,and because the only engines offered in the chargers were the 318 340383 440 and the 426 hemi,,someone correct me if im wrong,,pretty sure i aint though

Oh my god, silverhawk. I'm sorry. you're right, it was a 440. It reminded me when you said 440. I got them mixed up. I have a speedboat that has an olds 447 in it. I must have gotten them mixed up.
