Minimum wage with the possibility of a raise/promotion.

Minimum wage depends on the state you live in.

The rate of raises/promotions depends on the employer.

Washington State has the highest minimum wage I've heard of ($7.35/hr) so it'll probably be between $5.00 and $7.00 an hour.

You have to take into account the cost of living though. Our minimum wage is higher because things cost more here. A single person living alone with no dependants couldn't make it on $5.15 an hour, so it's higher.

I'm not sure how they figure it all out, but that's how it works.

Most retail stores will pay a little higher than minimum wage. I would think that you would start around $7 an hour or maybe a little more.

Funny that you posted...

I've heard from numerous people that working at Bass Pro sucks. They have so many people waiting in line for jobs, that they don't schedule around school and other things at all.

Oh well, if you get it, less us know how it goes.
