I agree with Washington Hunter. Carry a big knife on your belt. I have a buck zipper guthook knife that I use for deer. I love it, it works great and will last forever. I keep that one in my pack so it stays sharp for gutting. I carry a Ka-Bar on my belt. Its tough enough to hack through anything and its close by if I ever need it fast.

Bigger Blades arent better. With a smaller blade you know can controll it better and know where you are cutting. I learned that in hunter ED.
