I talked with a hound hunter around here who claimed he cornered a black cougar in a cave. He never was able to kill it. A rancher originally called him to take care of a regular colored cougar and when his dogs got on the track, he says it was black. Of course nothing ever came of it.

i don't know if their are or aren't panthers in your state but if you know the cave it is living in out for the kill you should tell the game wardens or go in and shoot it, something like that could really open up a lot of new studies.

I have my own trail cams out. Trust me guys, you would havea better chance of seeing an albino cougar than you would a black one. I know that sounds odd but it's true.

You don't even know ... the moderators and administrators of this forum now have your IP address. Better hope they don't decide to contact your ISP.

Brutal Attack, there is a BLACK cougar around my girlfriends house. I went with her cousin the other night to help feed his hogs and he told me that he has seen it twice. And he knows for sure what it is. He said he was about waist high on high (he is about 6'1) and he said the tail look to be about 5 foot long, not exactly but he said it was long. Once again not starting any flamesjust stating the facts.

Out for the kill; I am from Red Bay
