ORIGINAL: Out for the kill

...Deleted by CalHunter... I'm sure that anyone who lives in Alabama knows what i'm talking about! ...Deleted by CalHunter... No, it was not a coyote! No it wasn't a dog, cat, cow or any other thing you want to say. I can take you to a place right now where there is a black panther in a cave in the woods! ...Deleted by CalHunter...
Go take a picture then. Prove it.

"I don't have to prove anything!"

Right, because we're supposed to take your word for it.

I'm going to go along with "out for the kill" on this one. I also live in north alabama and yes they are panthers here. A couple of instances isi know, a few people have got there pic of a trail cam, A buddy of mine seen one while hunting (during the day), my girlfriends dad sawa pantherone day whilefishing and it was walking along the creek bank,Her cousin which lives close was out feeding his hogs one night with no light or nothing and one walked pretty close beside him. Idaho i ain't trying to start nothing with you, but your books and studies can say what they wanna say, but unless you live down and are actually around it to see, don't be saying it isn't down here b/c some book says therearen't panthers down here. I don't tell you what all is in idaho so don't tell what is or isn't here. B/C we live hereand know what is here. Didn't mean to startany flames just saying the facts.

and brutal, there is a cougar population in new york state also. i have seen, taken pictures and been with DEC tracking them and collering. its been in our newspapers, on our news channels, and they've been stealing goats. there are populations outside of florida. many populations.

people like to lash at you because although you think you're helping them, you present your information in a "holier than thou"tone. you're haughty and you think you know absolutely everything there is to know. i have news, you don't. nobody does. the most valued minds in the world don't. people don't like to be talked down to. i don't know if you come on here to get your kicks on beating on younger people but its not fun to watch you do and not fun to come here and read. i'm not lashing out at you by any means. i don't really care what you do. but others here do but i think they're too angry to really tell you what your problem is.

Thank you very, very much bama. Like he said, just because someone writes a book that says there aren't panthers in bama, doesn't mean it's true. Websites the same as we just said. Unless you have lived down here, and seen what we've seen, please don't imply that you know, because you don't.

I was speaking of the south of course. I must have used too general of a term like "East". I'm aware that the northern states have healthy cougar populations.

I wasn't being "holier than thou" I was trying to share some information. Apparently some people were intimidated by it or something. It's ok I'm getting used to that type of reaction. I don't come here to "beat on younger people" whatever that means. I actually enjoy helping and sharing what I know.I was assuming people hereare mature enough to have a discussion without resorting to petty arguments and personal attacks but I see I was wrong.

No I wasn't. You were attacking the source of my information and I defended it. Relax.
