Thanks to some good friends and great weather on Saturday (9/14) I was able to get my three plots planted with rye and ladino clover. Apparently the good Lord is looking down on me as we had the first substantial rain in awhile the day after we planted.
I used ilbback's chain link fence drag and had the use of PA hill toppers 4x4 Kubota tractor and attachments. Man with a great deal of rock pickin and the drag these ole mountain plots looked nearly like yankee stadiums infield <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>. Now we'll have to wait for the velvet greenery to appear.
Thanks to all of my good friends who helped and also to those on this site who gave me advice on planting.
