Has anyone found shed antlers in or near their food plots? I had 6 young bucks going to my food plot in january. I have gone to look for sheds once and only found one about 75 yards from my corn. Post some pictures of them if you did (big or small).

Here are a couple of the bigger ones I've found over the last 5 or 6 years.

Interestingly - Almost all of the sheds I find are in and around the apple trees bordering the plots. The trees are overgrown - and there is a lot of branches around on the ground. It seems to me that the bucks knock them off on these branches foraging for the apples through the snows in Jan & Feb.

I've never found a good one in an open plot.









None of them were ever taken by us - in fact - I don't know for sure that any of them were taken at all. Some years we hear about a "big 8 point" taken 2 farms down - or something, but we've never seen them to know for sure.

Those are some nice antlers! I found 5 this year so far, 4 of them I found where I don't hunt, and 1 I found 50 yards from my corn. I searched up and down my corn rows and have found nothing.
