I thought the same as you on the 200+ ac I purchased in NE PA. Do yourself a favor and look at a deer camera. Put it in a strategic area and get some of the best photos of the bucks you think aren't there. I thought my Buck/Doe ratio was about 1/10 until I bought a camera. Now I have proof of a 1/3 ration with some 140-150 B&C class bucks in a state that has shot every buck in sight forever. Good luck!!

I have thought about the camera. This year I have pretty much tapped out my resources. We purchased the land in February and have put up a cabin and shed. This year is going to be pretty much learn what is there the old fashion way. I will be getting a camera by next spring as well as starting food plots. Thanks to everyone for all the info. We give away information. Our's are just some of many fine products available on the market. Any purchase of our products, or anyone else's, should be due to the consumer educating themselves as to their needs in their particular area's and which of the many quality products that will satisfy that need. We believe an informed consumer is a good consumer. The consumer that is not motivated to take time to educate themselves usually will not take time to follow directions. We have nothing to hide. We don't have magic, neither does anyone else. It is our belief that quality seed bed preparation will lead to quality planting, which in turn will allow for a quality product to deliver it's quality. Planting and the product planted mean little if the seed bed is not prepted. Planting and the product to be planted is less than 5% of the planting process... 95% is soil preparation to plant.

Ok LB- So what's your plot?

We all talk about ours. Sure there are a lot of good products out there, and some god-awful bad ones too (I like the perennial ryegrass/barnyard grass plots myself for a mix that you can buy, AND NEVER SEE A DEER IN).

I guess we are just curious, because WE all have our favorites, (mine happens to be IWC (you could leave the jumpstart out, and put in another lb of ladino for my money) for a good all around plot.
