Default thinking about trying to help my deer herd

i'm considering a putting out a clover food plot and also planting some apple trees and other fruit trees. the property i have does have some deer but not alot and the deer are usually passing through and the other hunters close by started putting out food plots last year so i thought i would get on the ball and get something started do you think this will bring more deer to my property and maybe hold them there. thanks alot

If you plant it (right) they will come.

If you look after it, they will stay, be fertile and multiply.

My advise is to find out what the other people are planting and offer them something different that they won't get at the other places. Kinda like tricking them to stay. Also if you are going to plant frute trees Plant some persimmon trees. I know here in Missouri the deer have a special place in there heart for ripe persimmons. I will always hunt places that have persimmon trees and usually have very good lick.

Let us know what you go with.
