do a search for a label on Vantage.....first thing you get is Dow's site...Vantage...glyphosate......

beware the rush to say one is "wrong" till you have tested your own theory.....Also, the one you refer to is a BASF product I do believe....not Monsanto.....

I am going to have to look at it when I get home.

I went to the feed store and asked if they had the Poast or Vantage......I don't know who it is made by.

You can get the information you are looking for at www.cwc-chemical.com or email at [email protected] if you have further questions. From what I read and what we have used it for it is grass specific. However, all this confusion makes me wonder if there are two products with the same name?

One tablespoon per gallon is not sufficient. More like 1 oz. (3 tablespoons) I also like the suggestion of using dish detergent, its a great surfacant. I may go that way when my half gallon of surfacant is used up. Want to see how much a wetting action there is in detergent? Put a drop in some standing water. We keep a half barrel of water to water seedlings for the garden and it gets mosquito wrigglers in it. A couple of drops and the wrigglers drown.

The stuff I bought says that it is grass specific. Safe for different types of shrubs and broadleafs.

It does not take much soap to break the surface tension of a leaf. Too much surfactant and you spend all your time dealing with suds.
