hello. i'm new here so don't know the politics, so sorry if I step
one some toes.
here is the story. On our farm I have a lot of little patchs along
the creeks and other places. I would like to put out some plots
for feed, or buy some trees. These little things I can't get our
equipment in. what would be wonderful would be an atv, but don't
have one, then some sort of little no till drill or planter. I could
maybe make my own no till planter, since I have some older
equipment, from the 2 row days. Also I don't want any of the
free seed...i'm not wanting to start a shatter cane patch.
also, I read nothing about corn for deer....this drives me nuts.
corn is hard on deer. in order to get the nutrients from the corn
it must be cracked or better rolled...they can eat corn and starve.
and cracking it with their mouths are hard on deer.
I want to use milo and soybeans.....and no clover....alfalfa....things
you normally use.
so, is there any programs available that would help me with a
used atv, and help with rigging up a planter, and a sprayer would
be nice.
I lease some to state walk in hunting, they didn't offer to help, then
I have some private hunters, I mentioned it, I know they have atv's
but nobody offered to help, so I've got to the point, if there is no
programs, it's going to be everyone pays, and none of these little
dollar per acre, I've already been bid $10 an acre.
thank you
