Default Nut radical question

Got some chestnut seeds stratify ing in fridge since sept oct... My question is the radical on some of the nuts is really long and curled up ands twisted in all different directions... I planted the seeds and I'm hoping they grow... I planted the seeds with the radical facing down but the ends still were curled up...

Do you think they will still grow/germinate???
