Default Only 6 acres

Hello I just wanted to see what you all thought..
I have a 6 akers piece of land one of it is where a live the other is just grow up weeds, some trees about 16 foot tall and a few apple trees. I live out in the country i have corn and beans in front and behind me and there are miles and miles of them there are some woods around but not very big. Iv lived there almost a 1 and a half and iv only seen deer in them fields one time. So my question is, with just this little land i have do you guys think it would be worth it to plant a food plot in the back yard. Is this one of those field of dreams ( if you build it they will come).?

na, not if ya have them there fields a producin.
i would take the center 3 acres and make it a giant mineral lick.
helps em antlers and you would be the mineral source fer em.
seed and feed store, 50lb bags salt er what ever..dump it out in the fluffiest soil ya got and mix it up real good...i.g a disc behind the tractor.....down to doin donuts in the truck er 4 wheeler..

dont ferget, be safe, make sure your stand is real high, as to not be sending bullets into the neighboring property.

hard to say,
in short yes 6 acres can be productive,
is it the only cover around?
is it on route to/from bedding areas/water?
turning it into a food plot will be tough as your competing with lots of food sources in those farms fields around you,
mineral site sounds like a good use for it,
also possibly planting late season food source, or something different than whats around,

There is some cover like i said some patchy woods here and there, No there is no really path to water or cover. they would have cover in my place but im not sure if they would walk out of the way to get to it. There is just so much farm land out there. I also thought about putting in a pond but a was worried but the farm water getting in to it and killing off the fish. I just have this land and not a thing to do with it. There are alot of rabbits tho lol

sounds like an awesome spot for mineral deposit..nothing to worry about killing..ig vegetation...
good thing is, mineral fields last fer a long time, and after the initial making, ya only need 20% of product to renew it every year, cause it stays in the ground...even after ya quit renewin it, the deer will still come fer years.
