Default when all else fails! tell me what you think?

Let me start by explaining the title, long story short i had a few other peices of prime hunting land one 50-60ac farm feild and swamp, another 8-10ac qdm section on edge of swamp and feild, i was sad to see this one go but oh well i wasnt able to hunt those 2 pcs last year so i started working on my little 4acrs that border's a funnel right to the 50-60ac alfalfa feild behind me, only bad thing is LOTS OF DOES! i literally got 125pcs in 2-3nights last fall, 5mins apart ALL NIGHT just about, but i just wanted to share a few pics of my customizations to my peice of prop. i did this for 2 reasons
1. poison oak and ivy is all over and im quite allergic to it
2. with the loss of those few property's i started to hunt mine and decided to do what i can to attract a few more deer i.e. food plots, trees, mineral licks. although i did get permission to hunt 40ac but there's something about hunting behind 3-4 other people...

but yeah here ya go...

Plot #1 kiddie corner's a ottamolive (sp) brush feild and alfalfa feild above the hill

Plot #2 border's a small dried up swamp and the FUNNEL i cant tell you how many time's i've watched car's stop on the road to watch deer in my plot, or slam on there breaks for deer crossing.

Looks like you put in a lot of work. I hope it works out well for you.

It looks like you planted a grass, or have mostly grass coming up. If you hit your poison ivy with 2,4-d or better yet, dicamba, you will kill it. This assumes you do not have broadleaf plants or small trees nearby that you wish to keep alive. Spot spraying from a backpack or hand held sprayer can be very effective. I love getting revenge on poison ivy!

plot 1 has rye/ chicory and 2 has oat's, yeah i'd like to keep the tree's that the p. oak climbs, RU doesnt seem to affect the tree's least i hope it wont.... if you walk up and down a couple roads nearby you can find ivy that is climbing out into the road 1-2ft just to get more sunlight, its just terrible around here....
