Default hack and squirt pines??

I hacked and squirted a couple hundred or so loblolly pines last year, and it has not seemed to affect them. On most i used arsenol. In a few i used glosphate. Neither has seemed to have any affect, while everything esle i hacked with arsenol is dead or dying.

Anything else i can use to kill pines. I have alot of 4-8 inch pines that i want to kill and just let them die and fall on their own over time. I guess i could girdle??

I don’t have any experience with pines, so maybe this is a stupid question. Are you sure they’re not dead or dying? Girdling will work, but that can take a while as well. I’ve seen it take a year to see effects on maples and beech trees.
