Yes it is!! it will eventually get 12 inches or more long. I've grown it, and watched deer eat it. Its pretty odd looking to see a deer have a leaf that long hanging out of its mouth and wind it on in Right now the deer probably have enough tender leaves and browse out in the woods, but by the end of June and on in to fall you will have deer activity.
