NEW TO FOOD PLOTS!!!
I need some advice from people that have experience! I live in eastern NC. I'm interested in planting a food plot to bow hunt over when the season comes in around the beginning of Sept. I'm also going to be looking at planting something for late season (Dec.) Here it is still pretty warm during december. Every now and then it gets cold (20's) for a day or so then it warms back up to around 50's or so. Is there a do it all plant? I'm thinking of some type of clover to begin with then either sowing it over with w. wheat or something. What is ya'll suggestions. PH will be pretty good bc the farmer limes and fertilizes the entire field.

RE: NEW TO FOOD PLOTS!!!
there is one about 3/4 acre (i would like clover or something in it). Then about 500 yards across the field i'm thinking of putting something but i'm not sure about an acre as well. Bc the deer that come out in the back half of the property dont come across the field that often. Then another 500 yards or so there is a small open area (about a half acre but long and narrow)that someone cleared years ago and it is all grown up in weeds and stuff. I'm looking at bushhogging it and then tilling and planting something back there that is alittle shade tolerant bc it might only get about 2-4 hours of sunlight a day. I'm having problems downloading a picture of the property on the forum.
