Default Planting some grass

This past weekend I opened up all my feeder pins very wide in order to be able to plant some grass in them. What kind of grass should I plant in them. I know I should have planted grass early or whatever but I just want it there from about September on. Besides I can plant anything now with 100+ temps and .00005 inches of rain.

Deer generally don't eat grass - and I don't understand what you mean about your "feeder pins" ??

Maybe you wan to make a fall food plot?? try winter wheat.

Do you mean "PEN" - like - The Feeders are enclosed behind the fences of the Pen - If so - I still don't get you question - and if you really mean PIN - then I really don't understand.

Trying to understand - just aint getting it.

My bad, pen

You still dont get it. All it is is an area fenced around with posts and inside the area is a feeder.

Like this. See the fence going around the feeder. What should I plant in there???

Note: Not my pic
