Do I cut my food plot?!?
#1
This is the first time I have experimented with a food plot. Below is what my food plot looks like.I have heard that people cut thier plots to keep weeds from seeding or something. Do you cut it? If so, at what time do you cut it and how short? I have planted Imperial No Plow Wildlife Blend.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I wouldn't cut it, but i've never done a food plot. The food plot plants cover most of the ground so the animals will show up regardless. Maybe you can find a weed spray designed not to kill your food plot and blanket the whole area.

Don't cut it. The no-Plow is an annual and should be allowed to mature. By the looks of the plot, you're not there yet. If you notice some grasses trying to create a seed head. Weed it just above the clover. I've always planted myNo-Plow in the fall and had great luck. It lasts until early summer. One of my favorites and easy.........POP
