Default FEEDER GRAIN MIX?

i would like to know anyone's ideas on what to mix for a feeder for deer. corn is getting a bit expensive and it doesn't have that much protein, soybeans have tons of protein but they have to be mixed with other foods that deer like to get them to start eating it. i know deer love milo, is there some mixture of grains or something that the deer love and is good for them?

thanks to everyone for helping me out on my previous questions on food plots, they were more than helpfull. i have planted one acre(2 plots)over this last weekend with a rake, hoe, saw, and a whole lot of sweat. there were 3 bucks in the spots when we got there and one was aheavy3 or 4 yr. old buck. i placed a 24-7 trail cam on the spot and i will share some photo's as soon as there is something there worth showing.

vmartin, we run a couple different mixes through ours. protein pellets 16% 1/3, split peas 1/3, corn 1/3 and the other mix we use is the pea and pellet mix. The feed store premixes it and whatever they have enough of is what we buy. It only cost a few cents a bag more than corn, thats why we use it, they get the benefit of the protein and the peas and sometimes they get a little corn(candy) and it cost just a few penny's more. We have been feeding it for 3 years now and suprisingly when we first started it didn't take long for them to get started on it....I am sure there are some other guys here that do some mixing of other produts too, it is just too easy for us to buy it already mixed, versus hand mixing it, of course we are buying like 40 sacks at a time though....Good Luck with it~~~~

SWEET FEED IS THE SAME PRICE AS CORN IN THIS AREA, AND HAS DOUBLE THE AMOUNT OF PROTEIN...I GET MINE AT THE LOCAL SAMS CLUB FOR 7$ A BAG. IT HAS CORN IN IT.
