I planted an acre of Birdsfoot trefoil next to turnips and Kale. It was amazing how the deer went to the BF first and then to the turnips. I got a good crop for the first year growth which surprised me. The turnips where a big hit as well because it looked like someone went over them with a lawn mower.

Has anyone else tried BF?

It has self seeded over my property. If you keep the area mowed it takes over.
