burrying mineral blocks

the main reason why we bury them is that they seem to last longer when burried, the elements(especially rain)seem to really eat at them. from my experience the deer seem to really get on them more if they are buried.not hiding them from the law.

I always find a wrotten stump and put it on. Seems like they lick the stump more than the block, but they do both. Never have buried one. I mainly use the trace mineral block from Tractor Supply, but occasionally put some sort of molasses topper on a fresh block in new locations.

yeah, I got ask too; why are you burrying them? Are you hiding them from the law?I have always just put them on the ground and when it's gone the deer dig their own hole?
