What is the best stuff to buy that you can rake somesections in the woods and plant it? Also when do you plant it? I want to put some 10'x10' section in my woods of something but i want it to grow need your help!

That's a pretty small area, but wheat will germinate...that's what I have here...bottomland soils, tilled, in the understory:
