Whats a winter draw plant after the frost hits? Someone told me to plant "suger beets", but I kinda want a mix of fall and late season stuff, I will be planting in the pines and have access to decent top soil and mulch to till in if it will help.

Rape doesn't really start drawing deer until after it freezes. It's a major ingredient in Biologic mix. After it freezes, it starts creating sugars which really appeal to deer. The seed isn't really expensive and it grows in a wide variety of conditions.
