Thanks for the offer Timbercruiser but they don't handle frost. It would be interesting if someone from Virginia, Tennessee or Missouri tested them.

Don't need to try them in VA they grow here quite well on there own in the wild. I absolutely hate to get them on my clothes!

Anyone a little more north? Southern Indiana, Ohio, W. Virginia? We have something similar, just not the ones that Timbercruiser talks about.
