Biologic Question
I planted my first food plot this year in Clover Plus. I got a good stand to come up but my problem now is broadleaf weeds and lots of them. I have great soil so i havent fertilized yet just mowed. Will adding the right fertilizer help cut down? If so how hott is too hot to apply fertilizer.Alsohow often should the plot be mowed. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks

RE: Biologic Question
If its weeds & not Chicory - then Mow it. Mowing is the Best way to reduce annual weed growth. Get it before it seeds -and Next year it'll be sweet.
If you even need it - Don't fertilize it until Fall or Spring. Applying fertilizer over the top in the summer will probably help annual weeds more than the clover. Clover (if its inoculated) makes its own Nitrogen and doesn't need any additional.
