Default Found the perfect lime spreader for small plots, only $200!!

Just wanted to share. I know a lot of guys that don't have big $$$ to put into implements and have smaller plots struggle with finding a way to efficiently spread powdered lime on plots. Powder lime doesnt' flow through regular spreaders well, and it can be a real PITA to find a way to get this work done short of hiring a lime truck to come in every year.

This should work perfect on plots roughly 1 acre and smaller. We spread a half ton of lime on my buddys plot in Otsego County, NY with this in under half an hour 2 weeks ago. It only holds 175lbs of lime at a time, but still works pretty darn good and can be pulled with a lawn tractor or full size tractor. At $200 + roughly $30 shipping it is a great deal.............I am ordering one later this week to use on my own plots this summer, I have about 1.5 tons of lime to spread on 3 seperate plots this year. The local feedmill rents the Biologic brand hopper style spreader at $30 a day and it it doesn't do that well with powdered lime at all, so this is a great deal for me and will pay for itself over a couple years use.
