Default Last Summer Walk

Today was my last "walk" of the property - without a serious thought towards hunting. I took my dog, it's his last walk with me until after December, he's a good dog, and loves birds, but he could still mess up a good stand site. So we enjoyed the walk, took some pictures, and gave serious thought to the upcoming season. Here's a few pictures form Unoffical The Last Day of Summer.

Thanks for looking - now we start to scout with some seriousness.

You have some beautiful ground. I wish I could hunt with you! Amazingly lush for late summer.

Sean, things look good, doesnt appear that the corn has even started to aspirate yet, we started shelling corn about 10 days ago, running it thru the dryer. With 3100 acres we had to get started. Your beans really look good, what variety are they, we planted some group 2 beans this year.Is that close up turnips or kale or whatever? Looks like the beans closed up good again this year, glad that 15 in row thing works for you.. Good luck scouting and hunting...

Looks great. You've got enough feed grown to look after the county. And to think, you're about 2 hours away

Great pics FH, but you will not convince me that when you took a pic of the hunting blind, some stray thoughtsof the Nov rut didn't escape...
