Default Planting clover on a Dam

I'm putting in a lake and plan on planting the Dam in Ladino Clover. Do you think it is a bad time to plant clover in Late June in Southern Indiana?

I don't know about Indiana, but it would be too late in WI. I think it would be too hot and dry after that to get good growth.

i used to live in southern illinois. it's pretty hot in late june. you'd probably have better results if you wait until september before you plant the clover.
