not to go against everyone, but I say it looks like the real thing to me. And from the looks of it, I don't see why it wouldnt be real. First...I just don't see the shadow problem, and second, i don't see any evidence of doctoring, contrary to what some feel they see. In fact, although its a heck of a buck to say the least, its not of threatening size. I mean, it looks to me to be about a 200" gross 190" net class buck. Not a dime a dozen but not uncommon either.

As fake as the rompola buck.

200 gross? way bigger than that I'm thinking it would be about 238 3/8. Just a guess tho. So, what do you think is the gross score?

O it's for real all right, I was the first one to shoot it that day. Seems my ultra, win, short, supper short, weatherby, BMG just wasn't enough to finish it of. Then this guy with a .17 downs it with one shot. Sorry guys, this was getting a little too intense, thought I would lighten it up a little. I say fake for all of the above reasons, but if it's real, congrats!
