TX deer limit question

Kry, I believe you can do as you are saying. I hunt in Lampasas county which is a 3 deer county (1 buck, 2 doe) but I also have access to hunt land in Nolan County which is a 5 deer county. That leaves me with 1 buck and 1 doe tag to use there. If that's not legal then I don't know about it and have never been questioned by the game warden either.

Newbirdhunter, I carry a small bag of ty raps in my back pack and put a slice in one of the ears and loop it through that way. You can pick them up at Home Depot. Also make sure you carry a good ball point pen in your pack as well, there is some information on the back of the tag that you have to fill out before transporting the deer. The tags will have information on them about which ones to use for which deer. Just make sure you read them very carefully, they can be confusing.
