RE: North American Hunting Club???
I'm also a life member. I got a jacket and a life time of reading material. In general its not a bad organization. I've never had the problem of materials being sent then being asked for payment. I do get the literature for free trial offers but all that goes in the trash, of course thats after I take out the key rings and zipper pulls.
The only problem I have is that unlike the NRA they will not get involved in politics or lobby legislators on our behalf, but they do a good job of give the members the information so that we are informed.

I guess except for the staff and the expenses of the magazine, I'd say it goes into their corporate pockets along with the money from the North American Cooking Club, Sewing Club, Knitting Club, Fishing Club, Handyman Club. I'm sure there's more but these I knew off the top of my head.
My uncle has a leather coat like mine but with a NA Handyman Club patch on it.

They send me a lot of advertisement in the mail, looking for money. Not as much as some Credit Card Companies, but getting close. I mail they're own junk back to them. Only a few cents out of the pockets of NAHC but if everyone does it, then maybe they'll get the point.
