I treat my clothes (ScentBlocker also) with permanone. Hunting a river bottom in Georgia, I have little problem with mosquitoes. I also use deet around the exposed parts of the face. Generally the mosquitoes keep their distance from me for a week or more. I think that permanone is designed to kill instead of repel. Be sure to treat your clothes and allow it time to dry before you put wear them.

You guys are going to laugh when I tell you what type of bug spray I use. It's made by Avon, it's called Skin-so-Soft with Bug Guard. This stuff really works. Every May I head to the east coast and do some spring gobbler hunting, the mosq. like my tanned Cali skin. I've never been able to find a spray that works. I now use skin-so-soft lotion with SPF15 and it works great. Not to mention my soft skin as well. lol..lol..lol...

The bugs here in the Southeastern part of Virginia are terrible this year. I found the bug spray at Walmart in the sporting goods section that does a great job. It has a picture of a deer on it and it does not give a scent off.
