I actually like that Primos can too. It worked for me this year.
I'm actually surprized at the responces. I thought the rattles would win hands down. They are a little more difficult to use in a climbing stand then on the ground, and most of us I believe use a climbing stand. Thanks for the responces. I've had deer answer my grunt call 3 times but I never saw one.

HS True Talker. The primos can is the most overrated and overhyped call on the market today. Sure, any moron can use it. They just show it on the videos, old Will Primos is getting cold so he turns over the can and all the bucks flock to him. Like a Neon bar sign. I take my true talker and a set of rattling horns, maybe a bag, any day of the week.

I don't think it's right for you to refer to any other hunter as a moron. You don't even know them personally. I will try one of those calls you referes to.Hoowever; the Primos can put venison in my freezer.
God Bless you,
Chuck

I've never had much luck from the can, but I do think it works. If I didn't, I probably wouldn't carry it. I do know that it won't spook deer, so that says something. I usually use a cheap grunt call that I've had for years and don't know who made it. Rarely do I do any blind calling, but I've jumped deer while going to and from stands or just slipping through the woods and have grunted them back and shot them though. As long as the wind was right. You can fool their ears and eyes, but if they ever get a whiff.........GAME OVER!!!![:@]

I purchased the Knight & Hale Translator for this past season and really like it. It's adjustable from bleat to mature buck without "O" rings and disassembly. Loosen the set screw, adjust to the mark on the tube and your in business.
