I know what you are going through. i missed the buck of a lifetime that I walked up on literally.....because I had my mind on the nasty divorce I was going through. I still remember it very well. Walked up on him in a brushpile, saw him bedded, aimed and fired. I never even got excited, because I really didn't care. I hit him in the rack, busted 8 inches of g2 off.It is laying on top of my gun cabinet. That is a friendly little reminder from the hunting gods to pay attention and enjoy life. You only get one. By the way, all the misery was over soon, and I enjoy hunting more now than ever. My wife loves going hunting with me and hearing how the hunt went when I get home.
